The Honorable Bill Lockyer, California’s Attorney General, will accept the 2003
Visionary Award from STOPDV and SATI. Lockyer is being recognized
for his successful initiative to process the backlog of tens of
thousands of rape kits in the state of California. Attorney
General Lockyer will be only the second individual to be honored
with this distinction. Senator Joseph R. Biden, Jr. was the
recipient of the First Annual Visionary Award, which was bestowed
at the 2002 STOPDV/SATI conference. |
