|
This training reviews similarities and differences between battering in same sex couples and battering in heterosexual couples. Emphasis will be given to topics such as determination of primary aggressor and special considerations in prosecution. General diversity issues and ways for both individuals and departments to increase competency will be covered. Some basic information about the gay and lesbian community and concrete suggestions for language will also be included.
