Wittenberg University

Alan McEvoy, Ph.D., is a Professor
of Sociology at Wittenberg University and an authority on
problems of sexual violence and victimization. His expertise is
reflected in his national television appearances and in his
publications on rape, including the books If She Is Raped: A
Guidebook for Husbands, Fathers and Male Friends and If
He Is Raped: A Guidebook for Parents, Partners, Spouses, and
Friends. For the past 12 years, Professor McEvoy has
organized and chaired the International Conference on Sexual
Assault and Harassment on Campus. He is co-founder and current
President of the Safe Schools Coalition, a non-profit
organization dedicated to reducing school violence. Professor
McEvoy also has published books on youth suicide, child abuse,
and effective schools. He has taught at Wittenberg University
since 1976. |
