Diana Faugno, RN, SANE

Diana Faugno has been nursing since 1973. Currently, she is District Director of Forensic Health Services that provides a child abuse program, a sexual assault team and a family violence program in North San Diego County. She is a member of the American Academy of Forensic Science and the American Board of Forensic Examiners and a charter founding member of the International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN). In 1996, Ms. Faugno was presented the Outstanding Achievement Award at the IAFN National Conference and has received the SART award from the County of San Diego for her work with SART. She co-authored the book
Color Atlas of Sexual Assault (Mosby Publications, 1997).
