The Sexual Assault Response Teams of
Palomar Pomerado Health and University Community Medical Center
is sponsoring a 5 day Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner Course,
June 27-July 1, 2005. EVAW International has been provided with
one scholarship that covers the registration fee only. The
course will be held at the Department of Health Services in
Escondido, California (north San Diego County).
This course is designed for investigators, advocates and medical
professionals who are interested in developing their role as an
interdisciplinary team member of SART. Tuition for the entire
course is $548.00, and must accompany registration. If you are
interested in the scholarship, please send an e-mail to

stating your occupation, the length of time you’ve been working
in your field as well as any training opportunities you have had
based on your personal or organizational resources.
Seating is limited. To reserve a space, please contact PPH SART

register at your earliest convenience to guarantee a space.
Payment (cash, check, or money order) must be received two weeks
before the training. Lunch will not be provided. Nurses will be
provided with CEU’s by the California Board of Registered
Nursing #195. |
